been thinking about art

school always gets me in a really bad art block and ive been trying to get out of it.

it might be that i just dont engage with the art community as much and dont post anywhere anymore besides my very selective choice of discords and tumblr

i used to post on instagram but that isnt really viable anymore. all of my art for the last like 2 years has been made on 700x700 or 700x1000 px canvases with cropping used to customize the canvas further. a lot of my art also ends up in gif form, so instagrams infamous quality fuckery is extra egregious on my work. it seems like artfol has finally been made available on pc so i might try working with that but it was initially made with mobile in mind and i just dont like the feeling of it very much. at least it provides a gallery though.

deviantart is always an option and i do post there, but i prefer to post multiple images at a time and deviantart has no feature like that.

ill probably stick to tumblr since i much prefer the blog post format to anything else. twitter is of course there but thats. not even. not with elon musk. even so i wouldnt be totally happy with twitter since theres no way to format images the same way you can with tumblr.
